TUMIKI Institute of Technology works with the Korea Water Resources Research Institute

The Korea Water Research Institute (K-water research institute) is a leading research unit in the field of water resources in Korea, having cooperated for many years with the Department of Water Resources Management, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. During this working trip to Vietnam, Mr. Ryu Mun Hyun, Director of K-water, had a working session with the TUMIKI Technology Institute to discuss and seek cooperation opportunities in the field of water resources management.

Also attending the meeting was Mr. Nguyen Huy Binh, focal point of the GETPPP program in Vietnam.

At the meeting, the parties exchanged and discussed the current status of water resources management in Vietnam as well as the potential and strengths of the parties. K-water expressed its interest and appreciation for the achievements that the TUMIKI Technology Institute has achieved and shared that K-water is promoting the construction of projects on water resources management, in coordination with Vietnamese government agencies and enterprises. This is the first time K-water has sought out a private sector partner. The meeting ended successfully, promising future cooperation opportunities with Korean partners in the field of water resources.
